A definite cool climate element is evident in this wine, both on the nose and in the palate. No green notes, just that cool climate moderation/restraint, with a medium body, sleek tannin construction to the palate and black and red currant fruit to the nose, complemented with some subtle inflections of mint, and herbal leafiness, which gives good expression to the varietal. Refined with a dry finish and worthy mid palate depth to the fruit. An excellent value for a Margaret River Cab.
