The Prince Takamado Japan Centre is pleased to be hosting an Evening in the Orient, a one night event to feast both the eyes and stomach. We will gather at the Enterprise Square Gallery (10230 Jasper Avenue) at 6:30pm for a private guided calligraphy tour by Master Calligrapher Ms. Shiko Kataoka before walking over to deVines Wines and Spirits where you will be led through a sake tasting by certified sake specialist, Mr. Chris Maybroda.

Throughout the tasting, guests will experience an array of sake including several of the finest traditional sake, a sparkling sake, a gentle shochu and a plum wine. A selection of Japanese cuisine from the very traditional to the contemporary has been specially paired to balance and complement the sake menu by Mikado's head chef Mr. Sakaguchi.

deVine will also be offering a 10% discount on all Japanese products that evening to attendees (excluding beer).

Advance Registration is required for this event, and the deadline for registration is midnight, Friday, November 23rd.

Note: For this special tasting, we require 72 hours notice of cancellation for store credit only. No store credit if cancelling inside of 72 hours or missed tastings.
