de Fieuzal is a Grand Cru Classe from the 1959 Graves Classification.. Always well priced, this is a no brainer purchase in great years such as 2009. A large smorg of aromatics that includes roasted meats, tobacco leaf and cigar box. Distinctive with smokiness and thoroughly terroir driven. One of the few bargains at the Grand Cru Classe level in what is becoming a very expensive vintage. Highly recommended.

There is also a wonderful freshness and length to this somewhat oversized de Fieuzal while it still maintains its elegance and class. Drink it over the next 20-25 years. (92+ points).
