This is a blend of 60% Merlot from the QV Vineyard, 28% CabSau and 12% Malbec from the Hawke's Bay region. The Cabernet Sauvignon is culled from the Corner 50 Vineyard while the Malbec from the Puketapu area.
Careful blending has given the wine vibrant plum and blackberry flavours balanced with soft tannins which makes this wine perfect for drinking now although it will cellar well for up to 5 years. Excellent to pair with red meats and most cheeses.
